What we stand for
We advocate for recognizing alcohol and other harmful drugs as a social and public health problem, and for addressing them through education, prevention, treatment, an end to alcohol advertising, and stronger limits on commercial traffic. Our platform speaks to the major issues facing the country, from the economy and education to health care and foreign policy.

Stronger anti-corruption law, real transparency, protection for public research and regulatory agencies, term limits, and a spirit of ethical public service among those who hold office.

Burdensome ballot access laws shut voters out of a real choice. We work, in our own campaigns and alongside other parties, for standards that give minor parties a reasonable path to the ballot.

Alaska
In November 2025 the Alaska Division of Elections recognized the Prohibition Party as a Political Group. Alaskans can now register their affiliation on the state voter rolls. We are working toward limited party status and a ballot line for 2028.

We are building state-level organization in Tennessee, where 25 valid signatures put a candidate on the ballot for state and federal office and 275 signatures plus a slate of 11 electors qualifies a presidential ticket.
