The Prohibition Party runs on small contributions from people who believe the work is worth doing.
Contributions pay for ballot access petitioning, state organizing, printing and mailing the National Prohibitionist, and the ordinary costs of keeping a national committee running. Every officer of this party is a volunteer. No one draws a salary.

Contributions are not tax deductible. The Prohibition National Committee is a political organization under section 527 of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to it cannot be deducted as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Contributions are publicly reported. The committee files Form 8872 with the Internal Revenue Service. Contributors whose gifts total more than $200 in a calendar year are itemized in that filing by name, mailing address, occupation, and employer. Those filings are public records.
Who may contribute. Contributions must come from your own funds. Foreign nationals who are not lawful permanent residents may not contribute.
Dues are separate
Membership dues are ten dollars a year and are recorded separately from contributions. Pay them on the join page, not here, so the committee books them correctly.
